My teaching career has spanned seven years and I served as an Elementary Technology Teacher in Hudson County, NJ for the past four years.  Prior to teaching technology I was a third and fourth grade teacher. I loved being a classroom teacher but I was looking for a challenge and an opportunity to advance my career. This position has enabled me to teach both students and teachers how to use the latest technologies, design & implement professional development opportunities throughout the district, manage technology operations, produce school wide video projects and technology presentations, and assist in the maintenance of all school hardware, software, and technology initiatives.  During the 2007-2008 my colleagues chose me as Teacher of the Year.  It was a privledge to be so honored by my peers.

I graduated from New Jersey City University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English Literature in 2003. In 2006, I returned to NJCU and completed a Masters Degree in Educational Technology in May, 2009.  In June of 2009 I began the pursuit of a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Montclair State University and will complete the degree in May 2011.
